Text Box: IN PRE-PRODUCTION Burying the Littlemans [dark comedy / drama] One man returns to his small hometown when his mother commits suicide in a peculiar manner and reveals a dark secret that threatens to destroy his family. In the spirit of Little Miss Sunshine, The Good Girl, or Rachel Getting Married, Burying the Littlemans presents a refreshingly funny and poignant tale in which truthful, complex and offbeat characters struggle with lost dreams, rediscovering love and learning to accept the beauty of human imperfection. Burying the Littlemans is scheduled to shoot in the fall of 2010 and will feature up-and-coming star Katy Mixon (All About Steve, Four Christmases, The Quiet, television’s Eastbound and Down) as Sissy, the hilarious, overwrought, and neurotic sister and female lead.
